Lions Clubs International was founded by Chicago insurance man, Melvin Jones, in 1917. Lions Clubs International now has nearly 1.5 million Members .In 43,000 Clubs in 183 countries and geographic areas.

The Le Sueur Lions Club was chartered March 25th, 1960 and has a rich history of service to our community and humanitarian service. Today, over 30 members work together to serve our community in a multitude of ways.

LIONS HAVE FUN Now that you know something about us...Would you like to know more? Membership is by invitation and sponsorship. Contact a Lion Member for membership procedures and recommendation. The Le Sueur Lions Club meets regularly on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at the Le Sueur County Club. The first Tuesday of the month, is. a business/ social and program meeting, the second Tuesday is a business/social meeting with a board meeting following.Dinner served at 6:30 on both nights. Lions membership offers a great opportunity to be a part of an active, fun, supportive and growing organization. To the Lions "We Serve" is not only a motto, but a philosophy and our reason for being. |
